STEM is the language of the future
It is critical for young students to learn, explore, make, and ask questions. After-school programs have impacted students’ personal development and contributed to their social and emotional development. In the afterschool field, STEM has become an integral part of their educational programs. The provision of high-quality STEM learning experiences in afterschool programs has a significant impact on the active participation of youth; they develop the interest of students in STEM, and they build their STEM competencies and skills among diverse groups of students.

What Makes Us Unique
In a world that has become increasingly globalized and complex, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills are becoming increasingly important. As a result, students are eager to learn these skills in order to participate in modern society and the economy. We understand that not many day schools can provide stem education as part of their curriculum. That is why STEM after school programs are becoming more demanding. In the last 15 years, we have offered after school programs and STEM workshops to over 500 students in grades 1-8. We strongly believe in STEM education and the benefits it provides to students.

What is Math Word Problems
A word problem is a few sentences describing a ‘real-life’ scenario where a problem needs to be solved by way of a mathematical calculation. Word problems are seen as a crucial part of learning in the primary curriculum, because they require children to apply their knowledge of various different concepts to ‘real-life’ scenarios. The following are example word problems that apply to each primary year group.
