RPS Enrollment is All Year Round!
Rutherford Private School has an open entry admissions policy. There are no entry tests. Tests are only administered for the purpose of proper placement. Students are welcome to join any time of the year. When new students come to our school our main aim is to synchronize our teaching with your child’s needs, and abilities. There are a number of steps we suggest, to facilitate a smooth and pleasant experience as you consider Rutherford School for your son or daughter.

Russian, Persian, Hebrew, French, and Vietnamese speaking counselling are available.
Submit an Application
When you submit your application, it is recommended that you apply as early as possible. Your application must include:
- Completed registration form
- A copy of your child’s most recent report
- Any other reports which will assist the school in understanding your child ( i.e. psychological reports )
- Application fee of $100.00
Individual Interview: In-person or Virtual
Upon receipt of your application, you will be contacted to arrange a personal interview with our school counselors. Rutherford Private School is dedicated to providing all the necessary information about our school before registration. We are offering Russian, Persian, Hebrew, French, and Vietnamese languages in our interview.
After interview, if applicable, is completed and all supporting documentation has been received and carefully reviewed, your child may be offered admission. To accept the offer and secure your child’s placement, submit completed registration forms. Grades 11 & 12: Students are admitted based on submission of current academic records.
Located in a beautiful suburb of Toronto, the city of Vaughan, the Rutherford School is a short commute to downtown Toronto and major landmarks such as the CN tower, the Royal Ontario Museum, Queen’s Park, the Entertainment district, Niagara falls, and Lake Ontario. The school is walking distance to GO Transit which connecting Downtown Toronto to Barrie and public transportation, and close to all major amenities such as Restaurants, Parks, Movie theatres, Sports, Subway and Shopping.
